Happy New Year! We are looking forward to bringing our plans to fruition in 2021 with the help of our professional team: John Sell (architect), Greenwood Projects (project manager and QS), Robertson Cartwright Design (M&E), Hockley & Dawson (structural engineers), Cassie Herschel-Shorland (access), and Alix Slater (business planning & evaluation).

We are delighted to have achieved our initial fundraising target of £843,000.  Huge thanks to the Colyer Fergusson Charitable Trust, Henry Oldfield Trust and Mohn Westlake Foundation for making this possible.  We now plan to begin our three year activity programme  and to complete the hub in 2021.  We look forward to seeing you there!

The Trustees are immensely grateful to the National Lottery Heritage Fund for its offer of £246,000 for the Murston Heart project. We have now raised 85% of the required total. We hope everyone in Murston stays safe in these difficult times and look forward to moving on with the project after the current crisis.

We are grateful for grants of over £290,000 from charities including the Henry Oldfield Trust, Pilgrim Trust, Allchurches Trust, and Sittingbourne & Invicta Rotary Club.

Swale council has awarded £100,000 to Murston All Saints Trust towards the trust’s plans for a creative community hub in the Murston Old Church and surrounding churchyard.

Murston All Saints Trust (MAST) announces a major step forward in its plans to restore the Old Church to a central place in the life of the community.

During September to November 2018 the Murston HeArt Project will be exhibiting all your creations in the grounds of Murston Old Church creating a sea of poppies as part of a special memorial event for the WW1 Centenary.

On 7th and 8th October, we hosted a Fun Palaces weekend, and the grounds of the old church were full of amazing artwork created by young and old alike – here are a collection of photos captured over the course of the two days.
