Help raise money for Murston and Kent churches!
This Saturday 14th September, from 10am to 6pm, Murston Heart’s medieval chancel is taking part in the Ride and Stride sponsored event, to raise money for Kent churches. Thanks to a generous donation, the first 25 sponsored riders and striders to visit will receive an extra £20 of sponsorship! Early birds will also be able to refuel at the Hub Cafe, which will be open from 10am til midday.
Ride & Stride is an opportunity to raise money for Kent’s churches and chapels by cycling or walking. Money raised is shared equally between the church or chapel nominated by the participant and the Friends of Kent Churches which awards grants to Kent’s churches and chapels to help preserve them. Anyone wanting to nominate Murston Old Church to receive half of the money they raise would be very welcome – sponsorship forms will be available at the chancel.
